Stanford Learning Academy (“SLA”) is an enrichment program targeting English and Mandarin support for children in grades K-6. SLA focuses on tutoring native and non-native speaking students in either language who may require extra assistance. SLA will work closely with students with their daily Mandarin or English homework assignments and enrichment related to reading, writing, speaking, and listening. SLA’s goal is to provide support for students to become proficient in English and Mandarin by targeting instruction towards the student’s needs to accelerate learning.
Class Curriculum
Each day, classes will begin by review and reciting daily vocabulary words, practice reading, writing and speaking. At SLA, we believe practice makes perfect.
